Lola is a fool for a love story, a sucker for a cupcake, and let’s not talk about what she’d do for a Klondike
bar. She enjoys long walks on the beach and movies that involve chainsaws. By day she's the HR Lady and by nightfall she puts on a cape to become a romance writer.

I turned to see a brown-haired woman dressed in a navy blue pantsuit with files and notepads covering her face.
“Ursula.” Emilian was on his feet and at the door in a flash, taking the files from her arms. I looked at the interaction between them, which seemed almost intimate. He took the files, placing them down. Helped her with her jacket and purse. All while she looked at him with loving adoration.
With a raised eyebrow, I gave her a once-over. She was about my height, but she was thinner and paler. Her dark brown locks fell into curls past her shoulder, and the perfume she wore was intoxicating as it took over the room.
She stepped forward with Emilian’s hand wrapped around her shoulders.
“Megan, let me introduce you to Ursula. She is my progeny and assistant.” The perky brunette stepped forward, and I stood up. “She is here to help with anything you may need,” he finished.
