Review: Strong Enough by Alexis Alexander

Strong Enough (Strong, #1)
People cross paths in life, their purpose unknown but with reason.

Reece Miller's life changed that dark night when she was only 17. She hardly remembers what took place but she can’t forget him. His smell, his feel and that he saved her.

She has spent six years wondering about him, what might have happened. Her existence since then has been a shell of what it could have been. Hardened by life, Reece has built a wall around herself. Unable to understand love or how to trust, she pushes through life hiding; until a few key people cross her path and slowly chip at her shell, one of them being the very man she has not been able to forget.

Will Reece figure out who he is and his reason for being in her life before it’s too late? Or will she lose the one person meant to make her whole again?

For MATURE Readers ONLY
Contains Violence, Explicit Language and Sexual Content

Reece Miller is one bad ass chick, can't nobody break through her hard shell, or so she thinks. After one tragic night Reece has shut everyone out and closed her self off. No guy can get close to her with out her pushing them away, that is until she realizes she needs to let the old Reece out some.
This book was just phenomenal, Alexis Alexander is an amazing writer and I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the sequel. Strong Enough made me cry, laugh and get so angry. I loved Zane he was just so sexy, Jon I would love to hate but he's so sweet and then there's Sterling who I loved at first and then when his true side came out I wanted to beat the crap out of him. Reece just has too many interested men in her life to deal with. There was a lot of unanswered questions in the book however, Alexis assured me they will be answered in the sequel. However, they werent bad it was to the point that I just want to read the next book like NOW!!!! If I had one suggestion for the author for this book that would be to maybe have it reedited, I did see some grammar errors that could hurt the author in the long run, although they were not to the point that they deterred or ruined the main idea of the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to everyone.

Alexis AlexanderTo say my life has been normal would be an injustice. Growing up a military brat gave me the edge to go after then things I have wanted. Not all things have worked out but one thing has remained and that is my love of reading and writing. Writing is what made last minute, should have done this a week ago and now it's due at 9am college night papers so successful.
I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
