Vengeance (Transcend Time, #1.5)
4 Stars for Vengeance
By Michelle Madow

So after reading Vengeance this was my first reaction:

WTH? Seriously!!!! That was basically just a teaser! I really did not see that coming and WTH???? OMG! I don't know how long I can take not being able to read the next book! How can Michelle Madow just leave us with a cliffhanger like that!!!! So obviously Shannon's a BIOTCH! And Chelsea has some serious issues and this Genevieve is just a bit creepy! And then Spells? Come on Chelsea you should know there's always a price when you change things chicky!!! UGH!!!

And once I had time to calm down ...I got my review together:

In Vengeance, you get Chelsea's POV of how things are going down. Chelsea feels betrayed by her best friend, Lizzie and her boyfriend, Drew. She confides in Shannon that she feels that her and Drew were meant to be together forever.

Shannon has an aunt, Genevieve who owns a shop called Mystic Pathways. Genevieve can see things and she shows Chelsea images of her past life. A past life where she was with Drew.

Genevieve tells Chelsea how she can fix things so that she can get Drew back. Little does Chelsea know that if she follows Genevieve's instructions, there will be serious consequences for those involved.

So, I'm reading Vengeance and it's making me angry, so angry that I want to scream thought the pages (ereader), I want to strangle Chelsea for not seeing the good between Drew and Lizzie. I want to slap the crap out of Shannon for being so sneaky and most of all I want... actually I don't know what I want to do to Genevieve she's a bit creepy and might get revenge lol, but I'm angry at her for not giving Chelsea all the facts.

Vengeance is a short story and really just left ya hanging and wanting more. I just cant wait for the next chapter of this series to come out.
Timeless is expected to be released later this year!!

Remembrance (Transcend Time, #1)

 4 Stars for Remembrance
By Michelle Madow

Elizabeth is immediately drawn to the new guy at school. But her bestfriend Chelsea has already claimed Drew for herself, besides Elizabeth has been Jeremy for 3 years now, she has no right to want Drew for herself.

Soon Elizabeth starts seeing visions of her past life, a past life with Drew. She realizes that they are meant to be together. However, Drew when she confronts Drew, he gives her the cold shoulder, but only to try and protect her from what happened in their past life.

With a connection as strong as theirs, it becomes obvious that they can't stand to be apart, but how can they be with one another without hurting Chelsea and Jeremy?

I really fell in love with Remembrance and felt as if Michelle Madow gave such great detail that I was able to see the story play out in my mind. I really wanted to give Remembrance a five, however I kept getting deja vu with the whole my best friend is dating my soul mate and the reincarnation scenario, however Remembrance is an enjoyable Young Adult read that I will definitely read again.

***Warning Review May Contain Spoilers***
Rachael Wade is an amazing author!

I cried, I laughed, and I even got angry but the heat and passion that you feel when reading Preservation is intoxicating and surreal. Rachael makes her readers connect with her characters in away that makes you want more.

Kate has had to work hard for everything she had and wanted. Her father ran out on her and her mother when she was young, leaving her to fend for herself when her mother fell apart.

Now Kate is taking care of her mother, working going to school and writing. She has no time for a relationship and after the bad experiences she's had with them, she wasn't looking fir one.

Ryan was engaged to the love of his life and had a lot going for him, that was until he walked in on his fiancée with another man. After this betrayal, Ryan was never able to love again, he used women to get what he wanted and then let them go.

Ryan is a college professor and Kate is one of his student. They both have a strong connection to one another from the beginning, however, Ryan has a reputation of being a player and after the bad relationships they have both experienced, they have a hard time trusting one another. Kate is faced with decisions she's not sure how to handle. Does she stay with Henry? Or does she leave him? Does she give into Calliope to save the others?

Kate believes there may be one option left, but it requires her to leave the Underworld and the safety of the Council.

This is a book I could read over and over again. Aimee Carter is anble to capture her readers attention and keep them intrigued. I can't to see what happens in the next book, Goddess Inheritence, unfortunately thats not for a while.
